Participants

The term "Participants" in the context of the Lionsberg System refers to the individuals, teams, organizations, and communities who are engaged in actively working together towards the shared Vision, Goals, and Values.

This term is differentiated from:

  1. Observers, who are interested and following along from a distance
  2. Members, who have committed to longer term rights and responsibilities within the system
  3. Citizens, who have entered into long term relationship and taken up civic and governance responsibilities within Lionsberg
  4. Stewards, who have taken on primary responsibility for the stewardship and governance of the community.

In the Lionsberg System, Participants come together from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and work together in a highly collaborative and adaptive way. Participants are united by a shared Vision of a better future, and by a shared commitment to work together effectively towards that Vision.

Participants in the Lionsberg System are expected to take an active role in contributing their skills, knowledge, and expertise to help advance the collective progress towards the shared Vision. They are also expected to engage in regular analysis and reflection, and to continuously improve their own practices and processes to better align with the shared Vision and Goals.

The Lionsberg System provides Participants with the tools, resources, and guidance they need to work together effectively towards their shared Vision, Goals, and Values. Participants play a vital role in the success of the system, and are critical to producing Throughput of the Total Nested Hierarchy of Goals contained in the Meta Goal.

In the Lionsberg System, Participants work in a highly collaborative, adaptive, and informed way, and are expected to continuously improve the way that they work together over time. Together, Participants form a global Team of Teams that is united by a shared Vision and commitment to making that Vision a reality.

Participants are encourage to advance into ever More Meaningful Participation, Responsibility, and Stewardship.
