This Lionsberg Subscription Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into as of the date of the last signature below (the "Effective Date") by and between the undersigned participant ("Participant") and the Lionsberg Community ("Lionsberg").
Lionsberg is a global Community and Commons dedicated to connecting, serving, and empowering Citizens to confront and overcome the Meta Crisis and co-create a better future for All. It's role and function is to connect, serve, and empower All elements of the Force For Good that are voluntarily rising towards the Higher Order Functional Unity required to succeed and avoid failure at this crucial moment in history. As part of the Lionsberg Community, the Participant embarks on an epic Quest towards achieving the Most Worthy Goal and contributing to the betterment of Society and the Living System. The purpose of this Agreement is to establish a mutual understanding between the Participant and Lionsberg regarding the rights, responsibilities, and commitments of the Participant within the context of the Lionsberg System and Community. This Agreement aims to create a solid foundation for the Participant's involvement and ensure the integrity, regenerativity, and effectiveness of the Lionsberg System, Community, and Approach.
By signing this Agreement, the Participant agrees to:
a) Uphold the Values and Principles of the Lionsberg System, including but not limited to Truth, Love, Justice, Stewardship, and Wisdom
b) Actively contribute to the Progressive Realization of the Vision, Goals, and Objectives of the Lionsberg System and the New Vision and Plan by participating in Groups and Projects, sharing knowledge and expertise, and supporting other Participants
c) Engage in continuous learning, adaptation, and growth and help others do the same in line with the principles of Trust, Continuous Learning and Improvement, and Covenant Relationship
d) Prioritize the well-being of Future Generations
e) Participate in the Lionsberg System in a respectful and cooperative manner, fostering a sense of community, belonging, and mutual service and support
f) Voluntarily and honestly give back a Reciprocal Monthly Contribution, which is at least 1/10th of the Participant's time, attention, and the value received from the Lionsberg System and Community, to ensure its ongoing regenerativity and effectiveness.
The Participant acknowledges and agrees to the following rights and responsibilities within the Lionsberg System:
a) Access to resources, support, and opportunities provided by the Lionsberg System and Community, subject to availability and any applicable eligibility requirements, including mentorship, training, networking, and collaboration opportunities
b) Responsibility to maintain a respectful, loving, and cooperative environment within the Lionsberg community, promoting diversity and justice, and treating all Participants with dignity and respect
c) Responsibility to engage in Groups and Projects that help grow the Lionsberg Movement and Community, and which contribute towards the Progressive Realization of the Vision and Values set forth in the Lionsberg Manifesto and the New Vision and Plan
d) Active engagement in conflict resolution and grievance processes, as needed, with a commitment to open communication, understanding, and finding mutually beneficial solutions
e) Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and community guidelines
f) Participation in the ongoing evaluation and improvement of the Lionsberg System, providing feedback, suggestions, and ideas for enhancements and adjustments, as well as engagement in the implementation of identified improvements
Resources generated from the Lionsberg Movement and System will be initially stewarded through the Provisional Structure, anchored by the Lionsberg 501(c)(3) non-profit.
This Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and shall continue until terminated by either party upon thirty (30) days written notice to the other party. Lionsberg reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately upon written notice to the Participant in the event of a material breach of the Agreement or violation of the Lionsberg System's principles, vision, or values.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and the jurisdiction where the Lionsberg 501(c)(3) is located, presently Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
This Agreement may be amended by Lionsberg from time to time, in its sole discretion, in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Lionsberg System of Governance. Any such amendments shall be communicated to the Participant in writing, and the Participant's continued participation in the Lionsberg System following receipt of notice of such amendments shall constitute acceptance of the amended Agreement.
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Participant and Lionsberg concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements, whether oral or written, between the parties relating thereto. No waiver, modification, or amendment of any provision of this Agreement shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both parties.
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render this Agreement unenforceable or invalid as a whole. The unenforceable or invalid provision shall be severed from the Agreement, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
The Participant may not assign or transfer any of their rights or obligations under this Agreement without the prior written consent of Lionsberg.
All formal communications under this Agreement must be in writing.
The Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lionsberg and its affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with the Participant's breach of this Agreement or violation of any applicable laws, regulations, or community guidelines.
Participant understands that each Participant in the Lionsberg Community and System is independent, autonomous, self-governing, and free. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to create an employer-employee, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the Participant and Lionsberg.
