What Makes a Quest

A Quest should be:

• Real — it actually transforms your lives, relationships, or community
• Achievable — within reach with several hours per week from your Circle
• Meaningful — connected to needs you see and gifts you can offer
• Together — requires collaboration, not individual action
• Seasonal — aligned to the ~90-day rhythm between solstices and equinoxes

In the great traditions, a Quest is a journey toward something that matters — often infused with sacred, symbolic, or allegorical meaning. Tales of Quests figure prominently in the folklore of every tribe, nation, and tradition.

In The Great Game of LIONSBERG, every Quest carries this dual nature: it is both a practical project and a spiritual practice. The outer work of transforming your community is inseparable from the inner work of transforming yourselves.

Every Quest accomplished is a move in The Great Game. Every Circle completing its Quest and passing The Flame advances the whole. All Quests — from the smallest local act to the greatest planetary endeavor — stack up and align toward The Goal: the progressive realization of Heaven On Earth.
