The general trend in the enlightened philosophies, and the general impulse of the spiritual element of the universe, is the voluntary movement towards higher order Unity through Love.
Words like Truth, Righteousness, Love, Justice, Virtue, Wisdom, and Charity point the Way.
However in addition to the enlightening and ennobling rise of the love of wisdom, which we can generally call philo-sophia / Philosophy, there was another realm of thought at war with wisdom, which can generally call philo – nikia / Philonikia.
