Ring 5 - The Game

You do not learn this by reading about it. You learn it by doing it. This Ring is not information — it is action.


You Have Everything You Need

If you have read the previous Rings, you understand:

  • The Source: ONE. Spirit. Love. The ground from which everything emanates.
  • The Seed: Twelve irreducible elements, proven across 1,500 years of movements that changed the world.
  • The Pattern: Each element unfolded with enough depth to begin.
  • The Proof: The evidence that this works — repeatedly, at scale, across centuries and worlds.
  • The Library: 2.5 million words of depth for when you need to go deeper.

Now — play.


Step 1: Cross The Threshold

You are reading this for a reason.

Something has awakened in you — a recognition that the world as it is cannot continue. A sense that the Old World is collapsing, that something New is being born, and that you have a unique role to play.

That recognition is the threshold. You are standing on it now.

Cross it.

Not later. Not when you feel ready. Not when you have read more. Now.

Crossing the threshold means making a decision: I am no longer a spectator. I am a participant. I am a Co-Creator of Heaven On Earth.

Say it. Mean it. Let it change what you do tomorrow.


Step 2: Anchor The First Practice

Before you organize others, organize yourself.

The Pattern begins within. Every day, your life naturally divides into three great domains:

  • Rest — sleep, restoration, dreaming. Non-negotiable.
  • Recreation — relationships, movement, reflection, joy. Non-negotiable.
  • Meaningful Work — the field of your creative contribution to the Whole.

Begin with one practice that anchors you in Spirit and aligns your day with The Goal:

  • Morning stillness, prayer, or meditation
  • Reading and reflection from this book or the wiki
  • A daily intention: What is mine to do today in service of the Whole?

This is not optional preparation before the "real" work. This IS the real work. Inner transformation is the foundation upon which everything else is built. Without it, you will replicate the patterns of the Old World in new clothing.


Step 3: Form A Circle

You cannot do this alone. The Pattern is inherently relational. The basic unit is not the individual — it is the Circle: a voluntary association of 3 to 12 people united by shared purpose and agreements.

How To Form A Circle

1. Identify 2-4 others who resonate. Not everyone you know. Not your entire network. Start with those who feel the same urgency, share the same recognition, and are willing to commit.

2. Share the Seed. Give them Ring 1 - The Seed. Read it together. Discuss it. Let it resonate. Do not argue anyone into participation. Attraction, not promotion.

3. Establish your Field of Agreements. Sit together and articulate:

  • Purpose: What is this Circle for? (It must align with The Meta Goal)
  • Principles: What values do we commit to embody?
  • Practices: How often do we meet? How do we make decisions? How do we hold one another accountable?
  • Boundaries: Who is in the Circle? How do new members join?
  • Commitments: What does each person commit to contribute?

4. Elect two coordinators. Not bosses. Not managers. Servant-leaders who keep the Circle functioning. Arizmendi's instruction: "Organize a group to do something — elect two coordinators, and I'll be back to check on you."

5. Begin meeting regularly. Weekly at least. In person when possible. By video when necessary. Consistency matters more than frequency.


Step 4: Choose A Quest

A Circle without a Quest is a discussion group. A Circle with a Quest is an active and engaged force of transformation.

What Is A Quest?

A Quest is a concrete project — a body of Meaningful Work — that advances The Goal. It is:

  • Specific: Not "make the world better." Something tangible with measurable outcomes.
  • Aligned: Connected to The Meta Goal and the work most needed in your community. Designed to The Goal.
  • Achievable: Within the capacity of your Circle, with effort and commitment.
  • Time-bounded: Not exceeding 90 days. Long enough for meaningful work. Short enough for accountability, learning, and renewal.
  • Meaningful: Challenging enough to genuinely grow the Circle and each member within it. Not busywork. Real contribution.

Examples

  • Establish a community food cooperative using the Soft Franchises model
  • Create a local mutual aid network for your neighborhood
  • Launch a study group using LIONSBERG 101 to form new Circles
  • Address a specific local need (housing, education, food security, elder care, youth mentorship)
  • Build a component of shared digital infrastructure
  • Document and share learnings back to the Commons

Choose Your First Quest Together

Your Circle's first Quest should be achievable within weeks, not months. Early success builds trust, demonstrates the pattern, and generates momentum. Start small. Start now. Start with what is in front of you.


Step 5: Do The Work

Execute your Quest through the Seven Steps of Transformation and the commitment cycle:

  1. Story — Clarify the narrative. Why does this Quest matter? What is the Story of this need and this opportunity?
  2. Vision and Design — Articulate the desired outcome. Design To The Goal. What does success look like? What is the Target?
  3. Context and Analysis — Understand current conditions. What resources, obstacles, and allies exist?
  4. Engagement — Involve those affected. Listen deeply. Co-create with, not for.
  5. Strategy and Planning — Map the critical path. Who does what by when? Build a network of commitments.
  6. Action — Execute. Make and keep promises to one another. Each week: SHOULD → CAN → WILL → DID. Track time and energy invested in Meaningful Work.
  7. Measurement and Continuous ImprovementLearn from every cycle. What worked? What didn't? What do we carry forward?

This same seven-step process applies at every scale — from personal transformation to planetary healing. The Circle practices it at human scale, and in doing so, learns the Pattern that applies everywhere.

Track and Validate

Each Circle tracks the time and creative energy its members invest in Meaningful Work. This is the basis for Lionsberg Units of Value (LUV) — currency rooted in proof of meaningful work actually advancing The Goal. LUV circulates within the living economy of the New Civilization, enabling exchange, recognition, and coordination without dependence on the Old World economy.


Step 6: Pass The Flame

This is not optional. This is the proof of maturity. The fruit of the tree contains new seeds.

How To Pass The Flame

1. Each Circle member identifies 1-2 others who are awakening and might resonate. Within one week of receiving the Seed, pass it forward. This is the pace at the heart of the 10 Year Grand Strategy — the natural rhythm that carries the movement from 144 at Spring Equinox to The First Three Percent by Winter Solstice.

2. Share the Seed. Give them Ring 1 - The Seed. Share this book. Share your story. Share what your Circle has done and what it has meant.

3. Help them form their own Circle — or invite them to join yours. Not a branch of yours. Not a sub-committee. A new, sovereign, complete expression of the Pattern — carrying the full DNA, adapted to their own context, their own people, their own place.

4. Federate. Your Circle and the new Circle(s) begin coordinating — sharing learnings, pooling resources for larger Quests, establishing shared agreements at the Circle-of-Circles level.

5. Repeat. Each new Circle, once mature, passes the Flame again.

The Fibonacci Math

1 → 2 → 3 → 5 → 8 → 13 → 21 → 34 → 55 → 89 → 144 → ...

  • Cycle 10: ~1,000 people
  • Cycle 20: ~100,000 people
  • Cycle 30: ~10,000,000 people
  • Cycle 40: ~1,000,000,000 people
  • Cycle 50: Every person on Earth

50 cycles. 3.5 to 7 years. This is not fantasy — it is the mathematics of organic growth.

The question is not whether the math works.
The question is whether enough of us will begin.


Step 7: Transform Civilization

As Circles multiply and federate, something emerges that is greater than the sum of its parts:

  • Circles of 3-12 people become Communities of hundreds
  • Communities federate into Bioregional Networks of thousands
  • Bioregional Networks federate into The Planetary Grid — approximately 300 empowered leaders per community of 10,000, connected globally
  • The Planetary Grid becomes the living infrastructure of the New Civilization

At every level, the same DNA operates — the Twelve Irreducible Elements:

  • Holofractal Omnifederation
  • Sovereignty At Every Scale
  • Democratic Self-Governance
  • Capital Subordinate to Purpose
  • Education As Transformation
  • Self-Sustenance and Self-Replication

The Pattern of Production:

  • Integrated Delivery
  • Design To The Goal
  • Networks of Commitments
  • Tightly Coupled Learning and Action

Every Circle is not just a self-governing community — it is a team of builders on Worksite Earth, coordinating co-creation across scales, tracking commitments weekly, designing to The Goal, and learning from every cycle.

This is not a plan that requires permission from existing institutions. It does not depend on governments, corporations, or any existing power structure. It grows from the ground up, organically, through the voluntary association of sovereign beings awakening to their shared Purpose.

By the time the existing structures fully collapse, the New Civilization is already functional.

Not as a protest. Not as a revolution. As a living alternative — already governing, already feeding, already educating, already healing, already flourishing.

This is the meaning of the 10 Year Grand Strategy.
