It would be far more useful and accurate if we left it up to others to decide whether we were faithful and representative embodiments of the traditions we hold dear.

Saying "I am a Christian" or "I am a Muslim" or "I am a yogi" or "I am a martial artist" and imitating the outward forms does not make you one.
