Meditation 115

The era of great standing armies who are idle in times of peace must come to an end. The entirety of military might must be primarily used in service of life and creation, rather than death and destruction. A man who grows strong from laboring to cultivate flourishing and abundant life can defend himself or others if necessary; however we should not primarily train our children, our tools, and our technologies for war.
