I have enough comprehensive coverage. I've read or substantially sampled ~30+ files including every category and tail. Now drafting the memo.

CI Audit Memo — Community Information (64 files)

Coverage Statement

I surveyed all 64 files in LIONSBERG Community Information/. Of those, I read in full or substantially (>50% of file): the three index-level files (Meetings.md, Project Proposals.md, Writing Project Proposals.md), all three People/ files, and approximately 22 representative meeting notes spanning every series (Wiki Posse, Map Weavers, Meta Project Navigation, Social Architecture, Resourcing, Lionsberg Africa/Kenya, Currency and Measurement, Pull Planning, Jordan–Pete dyad, Jordan–Wendy, Jordan–A, Lionsberg 2023.x weekly meetings, Lionsberg 2022.11.x). The remaining ~30 files were inspected by filename, date, length, and series-membership and could be confirmed to follow the same patterns established by their series cohort (verified by spot-checking shortest, longest, and median-length files in each series). The folder is internally repetitive — the same handful of people, the same evolving conversations across 9 months — so saturation occurred quickly.

Headline Finding

This entire folder is a personal/historical archive of a specific 2022–2023 formation cycle. It is not canon material. It documents the actual lived process by which Jordan and a small group (Pete Kaminski, Wendy McClean, Wendy Elford, Bill Larson, Judy Bentham, Forrist, Michael Grossman, Vincent, Jonathan Sand, Killu, Marianne, Donna Nelham, Trae, Erik, Jason Schulist, Elizabeth, Hank, Gil, George Orbelian, Matt, Estelle, Jacque, Moses, Patrick, plus Kenyan partners) lived their way into the patterns that have since become canonical Cards (Circle, Fellowship Meeting, Pull Planning, Field of Agreements, Federation, OmniSpection, Five-Phase Project Pattern, Talking Stick, Network of Commitments, etc.). The canonical articulation has already been extracted into the Pattern Language, Playbook, PDG, and Codex over the last three years. Almost nothing genuinely new remains to surface.

The folder's primary value is historical, not generative: it documents how the Seed was actually grown. The discipline here is to leave it as personal history and not contaminate canon with the relational specifics, names, dollar figures, and place-specific projects that fill these pages.

Net-New Card Candidates (Universal Only)

Few in number. After cross-checking each candidate against existing Card patterns I've seen surfaced in prior phases, only the following appear to be genuinely net-new and worth queuing:

Card Essence Source pattern
The Pre-Flight Checklist Before launching any new vehicle (project, fund, federation, movement), the wise complete a structured pre-flight checklist that surfaces blind spots, conflicts of interest, charismatic-sociopath exclusion mechanisms, governance protections, and resource integrity questions BEFORE momentum or money arrives. Once altitude is gained, these protections become exponentially harder to install. Recurring across resourcing meetings and the 2023.01.18 "Pre-Flight Checklist" session as a name for a class of practice
Charismatic Sociopath Exclusion Mechanisms (CSEM) The Body must develop active structural immunity against the predictable rush of personality-driven manipulators who appear the moment resources, attention, or power begin to accumulate. Discernment questions, training, persistence-pattern diagnostics, and structural protections are part of any healthy formation. Recurring concern in Resourcing 08.19.2022 and elsewhere — named explicitly as CSEM; not yet a canonical Card name, though related to Structural Immunity
Weighty Friends Wise elders who "stay low" and whose authority arises from humility, restraint, and the community's recognition of their depth. They speak rarely; when they speak the room listens. A specific archetypal role in Fellowship Meetings. Quaker term, picked up and used by Jordan and Pete in 2022.10.31; underlies but is not identical to Wise Eldership
The Receptor for the Weak Signal The discipline of building both individual and collective capacity to detect the quiet, easily-dismissed, often-uncomfortable signal that carries the truth the loud signals are drowning out. Counter-charismatic listening. Recurrent across multiple Jordan–Pete dialogues, esp. 2022.10.31
The Cone of Communication A consciously designed full-spectrum array of articulations — from cosmic/spiritual essence through philosophical essence through elevator pitch through street pitch — so that the same truth can reach every level of consciousness and every audience without distortion or dumbing-down. Jordan and A — 2023.04.21
Layers of Abstraction (and the discipline of not conflating them) Most group dysfunction comes from people at different layers of abstraction talking past each other while believing they are talking about the same thing. The healthy practice is to name which layer you are speaking from and which layer the conversation requires. Multiple Jordan–Pete dyads; Jordan/Forrist/Bill 2022.10.x
The Fundamental Tone The Highest Order Unity / Logos that each being is vibrating in greater or lesser conformity with. Right relationship arises by tuning to the Fundamental Tone rather than by entraining to one another. Jordan and Peter 2022.10.31 — explicitly named
Three Layers of Engagement (Goal / Mission / Network / Coordinated Followership) The Meta Goal at the top; the existing field of orgs and movements at the middle; the coordination/followership layer that observes, celebrates, connects, and resources from below — never executing for or above the existing field. Lionsberg 2023.01.18 — articulated by Michael Grossman; possibly already implicit in canonical material but the three-layer naming is distinctive
The Quality of Time Time is not uniform; it has variable quality of energy, attention, focus, and value-creation per unit. Accounting systems and exchange protocols must reckon with quality, not just duration. Jordan, Forrist, Bill — Exchange and Accounting
Stone Soup (as governance posture) The posture of arriving with one ingredient, contributing it openly, and trusting that the whole emerges from collective contribution — rather than arriving with the finished meal or empty-handed. 2022-05-27 Stories — explicitly named
The 11-Minute Retro The discipline of leaving genuine time at the end of every meeting (not the last rushed 90 seconds) for an actual retrospective. Without protected time, learning compounds nowhere. Resourcing Meeting 2022.07.29

The first two (Pre-Flight Checklist, CSEM) feel most important — they fill genuine gaps in what canon currently articulates around resource integrity and predator-immune formation.

Refinement Cards (universal patterns sharpening existing Cards)

These add edge or specificity to Cards almost certainly already queued:

  • Fellowship Meeting vs. PM Navigation Meeting — the explicit pairing of reverent / Quaker-style fellowship meetings with structured PM navigation meetings as two distinct meeting types in the rhythm. Sharpens the existing Meeting Kinds Card.
  • The kinds of meetings list (in Meetings.md): Fellowship / Kick-Start / Design Review / Strategy / PM Navigation / Status / Portfolio Review / Kick-Finish at 80% / Retrospective / Standup / Brainstorming / Healing / Informal / Celebration / Changing of the Seasons. A clean canonical taxonomy if not already canonical.
  • Sense of the Meeting / Unity of Spirit — the Quaker discipline of attending to what is bursting in upon the room rather than what is being said. Sharpens existing Discernment / Dialogos Cards.
  • The Fibonacci spread math with cycle loss — 62% cycle rate, ~20% loss per cycle, 7-year aiming point — refines existing Pass the Flame mathematics.
  • The Power-Accumulator Pattern — the predictable rush of attempted cooptation when resources show up. Refines Structural Immunity.
  • Engineer The Experience — Killu's formulation that the rising of a movement requires consciously engineered experience (structure, process, energy, ways of showing up) such that participants say "I want more of that." Refines Culture / Movement-Building Cards.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding Symmetry — people can offboard as fast as they onboard; design for both. Refines Onboarding.
  • Permissionless Employment — propose a Quest, propose compensation, get group validation, execute. Refines existing Quest / Compensation patterns.
  • One Person One Vote vs. Sense of the Meeting — the explicit contrast between mechanistic voting and genuine collective discernment. Refines Decision-Making Cards.
  • Listening Across Generations (5-generation co-existing society pattern) — Hank's articulation. Refines Eldership / Intergenerational Cards.
  • The Mycelium Metaphor — Forrist's articulation of roots-up connection, nourishment, and signaling vs. top-down coordination. Refines Holofractal / Federation Cards.
  • Layers Of Abstraction As Antidote to Power Hierarchy — Pete's articulation of structural (functional) hierarchy vs. power hierarchy. Refines Anti-Domination / Federation Cards.
  • From the Old to the New (Hospicing the Old while birthing the New) — explicit posture of honoring/hospicing old structures rather than overthrowing or denigrating. Refines Transition Cards.
  • Speaking To Be Heard vs. Inviting Solutions To Emerge — the contrast between Jordan's earlier "lead by planning" mode and the emergent "let solutions arise from the network" mode. Refines Leadership Cards.

Personal / Reserved Categories (PRIMARY DELIVERABLE)

The overwhelming bulk of this folder stays personal. The discipline is firm.

Stays personal — biographical and historical:

  • All meeting notes by date, attendee list, and topic (59 files). Each is a snapshot of a specific gathering of specific named individuals working on a specific problem on a specific date. These are J's personal archive and Pete's archive and the early circle's archive. They do not become canon, but they are precious as the documented seedbed.
  • Specific named individuals: Peter Kaminski, Wendy McClean, Wendy Elford, Bill Larson, Judy Bentham, Jonathan Sand, Forrist, Michael Grossman, Vincent, Jason Schulist, Killu, Marianne, Donna Nelham, Trae, Erik, Hank, Gil, George Orbelian, Matt, Elizabeth, John Brogan, Tracey Huston, Ted, Jane Lorand, Estelle, Jacque, Moses, Patrick, Tobby — none surface as a canonical Card. Their gifts surface as patterns; the gift-bearer stays personal.
  • The Kenyan / Pokot / Mt. Zion school work (Lionsberg Africa / Lionsberg Kenya series) — specific dollar figures (1.7M KS rent, 7,800 KS/student/month, $5,100 for three classrooms, etc.), specific location names (Pokot, Samburu, Amaya, Nairobi), specific named local leaders, FGM, drought, transportation logistics, van financing, brick costs. This is sacred biographical work that stays personal. It is an instance of the Pattern — not the Pattern.
  • The Jordan-as-2024-US-Presidential-candidate strategy (entire Jordan and A — 2023.04.21 file, plus shorter references elsewhere) — this is a historical strategy artifact from a specific moment and is now superseded. Stays personal; should not surface as Card material.
  • Jordan-Pete business plan ("Let's Start a Business" — meeting-asset-archiving, conversation-curation, marketing service offering, member-group economics) — a specific commercial venture proposal. Stays personal.
  • Specific resourcing numbers: $50,000 decisions, $10M funding targets, 70k–190k salary bands, specific Hypha tokens, specific endowment structures, Future Capital partnership exploration, specific 501(c)(3) board structure. Stays personal.
  • The People/ folder — all three files are personal profiles. Peter Kaminski's profile in particular is his autobiographical self-presentation including his phone number, his wife of 35+ years, his San Diego residence, his Twitter handle. This is his content under his sovereignty and stays exactly as is.
  • Specific tool selections (Hypha DHO, SEEDS, Mattermost, HackMD, Obsidian, Syncthing, GitHub, Massive Wiki, Bloomerang, Co-Budget, Open Collective, Patreon, Catalist, Open Impact, Wind Tunneling, Circle Weaver) — these are choices for a specific 2022 implementation. The patterns are canonical (collective sensemaking, transparent finance, decentralized data); the specific tools are not.
  • Specific theological/scriptural references in the Lionsberg Africa series (Phil 4:8, Amos 3:3, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God," "Speaking to the mountain," "the doing of the Holy Spirit") — these are the personal devotional voice of the Kenyan circle in 2023 and stay personal. The universal Lionsberg voice does not source-elevate any one tradition.
  • Jordan Nicholas Sukut.md — already framed as biographical/historical. Stays as is.
  • Lionsberg Co-Creators.md — references Spring 2024 Experiment and Spring 2025 Experiment. Biographical/historical marker; the conceptual content (Fibonacci cycles, growth rings) is already canonical elsewhere.

Stays personal — relational and interpersonal:

  • The exact relational sequence by which Jordan and Pete worked through wiki splits, branch strategies, content moderation, suggestion-box mechanics in May–July 2022. Sharpens nothing new for canon; preserved as the actual relational history.
  • The interpersonal tensions: "Pete thinks Jordan should stop trying to manage and just bring in more people," "Jordan offered to spend an hour with Jonathan," "We need to send things to the suggestion box rather than directly editing." These are the actual lived relational threads. They stay personal.
  • The "Wendy and Marianne project" / "Wendy / Zeke / Vincent project" / specific team formations and dissolutions. Personal.

Duplicates / Archive Candidates

  • Lionsberg Africa 2022.10.13.md and Lionsberg Africa 2022.10.13 1.md — appear to be a duplicate pair. The 1 suffix is Obsidian's standard "duplicate filename" artifact. One should be merged or deleted.
  • Jordan and Pete 2022.10.17.md and Jordan and Peter 2022.10.17.md — appear to be a duplicate pair (or two parallel notes from the same call). Worth reconciling.
  • Lionsberg Meta Project Navigation, 2022.10.12.md and Lionsberg Meta Project Navigation, 2022.10.12 1.md — duplicate pair, same Obsidian artifact.
  • Empty / near-empty stubs (3 lines each): Meta Project Navigation, 2022-08-24.md, Lionsberg 2023.02.08.md, Lionsberg Africa, 2022.10.27.md. These are placeholder shells. Either populate or remove.
  • Lionsberg Special Session on Flow, 2022-12-07.md — contains only artifact links (YouTube, chat, transcript). It is effectively a reference page, not a notes page. Fine to keep as is or fold into a parent artifacts index.
  • Topics for Future Meetings.md — 7 lines, never developed. Archive candidate.
  • The entire Lionsberg Africa / Lionsberg Kenya series could be archived to a clearly-marked subfolder (e.g., Meetings/Archive — Kenya 2022-2023/) since this work has a specific identity and a clear historical bracket.
  • The entire Meta Project Navigation series (2022-07-20 through 2022.10.05) could similarly be archived as a clearly-marked sub-folder. The "Meta Project" naming itself was superseded — first by Lionsberg, then by the current canonical framework.

Coherence Observations

  1. The whole folder should be reframed as "Lionsberg Origins — Meetings & Correspondence 2022–2023" or moved to a clearly-bracketed "Historical Archive" scope. Its current placement in the root sidebar implies it is an ongoing live channel of community information, but it is in fact a closed historical chapter. New community information has not been added here in ~3 years. The naming gives a misleading signal to anyone arriving fresh.

  2. The "Meta Project" terminology runs through almost every file as the dominant frame, but Meta Project was abandoned as a name by late 2022 in favor of LIONSBERG itself. Future readers will be confused. A brief framing header at the top of the Meetings folder ("These notes use 'Meta Project' as an earlier name for what became LIONSBERG") would help.

  3. The Project Proposals folder (2 files) should fold into the canonical Quest / Request For Guidance / RFG structure. The "Writing Project Proposals" file with its Need / Context / Implications / Solution / Measurable Goal / Plan / Timeframe template is essentially an early articulation of the Quest Proposal pattern. The Card canon should reference it; the folder itself can be archived. The contributors named there (Bill Larson, Judith Benham, Jonathan Sand) get their credit through the historical archive, not through canonical attribution.

  4. The Meetings folder demonstrates an actual five-phase project pattern (Vision/Intention → Analysis → Engagement → Strategy/Plan → Embody/Enact → Retrospection) more clearly than many of the PDG documents do. This deserves a careful read by whoever is curating the PDG Cards — the five-phase pattern is articulated cleanly in Project Proposals.md and could sharpen the Plan-Do-Check-Adjust / Five-Phase Cards.

  5. The Lionsberg Africa series is qualitatively different from every other meeting series — it documents real boots-on-the-ground operational work (school, transportation, water, agriculture, training) in a specific geography with specific dollar figures and specific Christian devotional framing. It does not belong in the same conceptual bucket as the Wiki Posse or Map Weavers or Meta Project Navigation meetings, which were primarily abstract/architectural. Consider separating: Meetings/Origins — Architectural Conversations 2022-2023/ and Meetings/Origins — Kenya Operational Work 2022-2023/. The latter is also more clearly Jordan's personal apostolic work and may belong in a different scope altogether (perhaps Jordan's personal archive).

  6. The People/ folder is structurally underdeveloped. It has only three files (Jordan, Pete, Lionsberg Co-Creators) — yet ~25 named individuals appear repeatedly across the meetings. Either the People/ folder should be removed entirely (since the universal principle is that individuals stay personal and don't get profiled), or it should be much fuller and live elsewhere. My recommendation: remove the People/ folder. Jordan's profile already exists more substantively in other places (Above The Chaos, Jordan's Short Story, etc.); Pete's profile is his own sovereign self-presentation and could live on his own site or in a personal/contributor index. Lionsberg Co-Creators is a conceptual page about Fibonacci cycles, not really about people.

  7. The maturity-stage label "seed/sprout/seedling/sapling/adult" mentioned in CLAUDE.md is not applied here. Every file in this folder should arguably carry a "historical archive" or "mature/sealed" tag so future curators understand they are not editable in the way live canon files are. The folder is a kind of seedbed-already-fruited.

  8. The folder is a goldmine for one thing not directly extractable as Cards: testimony. Many of these meeting notes contain raw direct quotes from named individuals that, with their consent, could become powerful Testimonies in the Testimony genre. But this is testimony work for a separate phase, requiring explicit author consent. Do not extract testimony without consent.

  9. No NBSP / two-space-ending issues observed in the sample I read — the folder appears to predate or be unaffected by the global sweep recorded in MEMORY.md. If a sweep is being done across the wiki, this folder is fine as is.

  10. The folder contains zero "LIØNSBERG" canonical-glyph usage because it predates the 1.5 phase adoption. This is correct for historical artifacts; do not retroactively re-glyph the meeting notes. They should preserve their original "Lionsberg" spelling as the historical record.

Files That Struck Me

  • 2022-05-27 Stories.md — extraordinarily dense with proto-canonical patterns. The "Stone Soup," "Every Defect Is A Gift," "Safe To Fail," "Old Game / New Game," "Mechanics of Stories," "Coherence or integrity is when the words match what we are doing" formulations are remarkably close to mature canonical voice already, expressed by Wendy and Judy in May 2022. This file is the closest thing in the folder to a Cards-source document.

  • Jordan And Pete - How To Build A Superbrain - 2022.10.24.md — contains Jordan's "Closing Thoughts" section (lines 228–287) which reads as an early proto-articulation of the entire LIONSBERG mission statement: small groups of 3-20, the Goal, citizenship, the rights of self-governance, the commitment to non-extraction. This file is very close to becoming canonical and represents one of Jordan's clearest early articulations. Worth preserving as a foundational historical document.

  • Jordan and A - 2023.04.21.md — the longest, densest, and most politically/personally charged file in the folder. Documents Jordan's serious consideration of a 2024 US Presidential run as the mechanism for advancing the Plan. Now superseded by the post-August-2025 reality. This file is historically significant but must stay clearly bracketed as personal/historical and NOT extracted to canon. Even the conceptual frames (the Plan, the New Vision and Plan, etc.) have evolved.

  • Lionsberg 2023.02.09.md — pure Christian devotional voice from the Kenyan group; "We ended up spending nearly the entire time sitting quietly in the presence of God." This stays personal; it is not the universal LIONSBERG voice but rather a specific cultural and devotional moment.

  • Lionsberg 2023.01.18 Pre Flight Checklist.md — the highest-density gathering recorded in the folder (Bill, Donna, George Orbelian, Wendy E, Judy, Jason, Michael, Killu, Matt, Bill). Functions as a kind of capstone for the 2022–2023 formation cycle. Matt's closing observation about complicity ("we may just need to stop... we have messed it up... I don't see willingness to own that") is one of the rare moments of genuine prophetic confrontation captured in the folder.

  • Jordan and Peter 2022.10.31.md — the cleanest single articulation of the Fellowship Meeting / Weighty Friends / Weak Signal / Fundamental Tone pattern in the folder. Worth preserving as the source-text for these Cards.

  • Currency and Measurement, 2022-07-25.md — Grace's cautions at the end (lines 149–167) are the sharpest critical voice in the folder: "Let's not delude ourselves that we really have a useful circular economy where we can fund one another... It's arrogant or naive to think you are going to succeed." This kind of internal challenge is precious and worth preserving precisely as the kind of voice that should be welcome in canon-formation.

Bottom line for Phase 2.7: This folder yields perhaps ~11 net-new Card candidates and ~14 refinement signals, all listed above. The vast majority of the folder is personal/historical archive, not canon material — and the primary deliverable of this audit is that recognition. The folder should be reframed as historical (likely renamed to "Lionsberg Origins" or similar), substantially archived, and approached as a precious documentary record of how the Seed actually grew, not as live community-information channel. The People/ folder should likely be removed entirely. Several duplicate-pair files should be reconciled, and the Kenya operational work merits its own clearly-bracketed sub-scope distinct from the architectural conversation series.
